Athletics “a commercial as well as a sporting success”

5 January 2009 - Monte-Carlo - Despite the economic downturn the IAAF has enjoyed a vintage year in 2008 in commercial terms and is now looking forward to building on the success of athletics at the Beijing Olympic Games at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Berlin and beyond.
